The
new Ultra II Series add many new features to
the most powerful electronics in the industry.
Unique digital frequency codes and auto mode provide
easy use and unlimited functionality. The transmitter
and receiver provide the control and flexibility
to initiate any task that an assistant in the
field could perform in an easy manner. This includes
firing in any order, at any time, in any position.
It also includes sound or motion.
The
computers are capable of communicating with each
other up to 400 yards away and each system has its
unique channel so as not to interfere with other
users. In addition, it also allows compatibility
so you can train with other users.
The
transmitter controls the sounds by the vertical
left-hand column on the keypad. The middle column
on the keypad controls motion. The right-hand
column controls firing. Horizontal rows control
different geographic locations. This allows the
trainer to provide control over motion, sound,
and firing order at any location without taking
his eyes off the dog.
In
addition to providing operational control, the
transmitter is used to program the receivers for
multiple marks, multiple launchers, different
channels, and the various sound options. These
programming features allow the configuration of
up to 16 launchers or 64 firings, four different
voice sounds at any position, and four different
channels. This allows the trainer to configure
other launchers to his system, train in the same
area with other users, set up multiple marks,
multiple launchers and multiple sounds, all essential
to the demands of high performance dog training.
New auto run features simplify operation for the
less technical user or sportsman.
There
are several memory recall features and indicator
lights to make programming fast and easy to use.
The following example shows how a duck sound is
programmed for location "one".

The
transmitter is equipped with safety and indicator
lights to provide easy and safe operation. A disarming
button on both the transmitter and receiver will
disarm all launchers during actual dog running
or reloading. In addition, the computer will automatically
disarm after a pre-determined period of non-use.
These features increase battery life and enhance
safety procedures. Sound and motion activation
is available without re-arming the unit. The system
has indicator lights for low battery condition,
program indication lights, arming and disarming
status.
